'Blak Book of the Month - Year 1 & 2' promotes the regular inclusion of First Nations children's books in Australian primary classrooms. Each book explores important First Nations themes such as Country, Elders, the Dreaming, and community, while linking to the Australian Curriculum. Book selections also align with significant dates throughout the year, such as National Sea Week in March. Books are available individually or in book packs from the Riley Callie Resources website.

The Yulang Effect was founded by Jordyn Green, a proud Wiradjuri, Ngemba, and Paakantji woman and experienced primary teacher.
