Map of Indigenous Australia

This map attempts to represent the language, social or nation groups of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and is a great visual for children to understand the diversity of First Nations people in Australia.

It is important to note that the map represents the general locations of these groups, not the exact or fixed boundaries. It was created almost 30 years ago and some of the information in the map is not up-to-date (e.g. group names and spellings).
